About us
dishity was born from a very simple question: when you feel like eating a specific dish, why is it so hard to know where they make it well?
Our mission
Restaurant reviews usually rate the place as a whole: service, atmosphere, value for money. That's useful, but it doesn't answer the question we often really ask ourselves: "where are the best croquettes in my city?" or "who makes the best tortilla around here?". At dishity we flip the approach: we rate specific dishes, at specific restaurants, so you find exactly what you're looking for.
How the catalog is built
The catalog combines public restaurant information with the ratings, photos and comments from users who have tried each dish. Restaurant owners can claim their listing for free to keep it up to date and respond to their community. The more the community grows, the more reliable and complete the rankings become.
AI-generated descriptions
Some descriptions of restaurants, dishes and cities are generated with artificial intelligence based on publicly available information about each one. When the AI has no real, verifiable information, we prefer to leave the description blank rather than invent data: we don't publish generic or inaccurate text just to fill in a listing. If you spot an error in a description, you can let us know from the contact page.
Our commitment
We don't sell featured placements or accept paid reviews: the ratings you see come from real people. You can read more about how we handle data in our privacy policy and about the rules of use in our terms and conditions.
